Chihuly is renowned for his ambitious architectural installations around the world in historic cities, museums and gardens. Gary Randell is a facebook friend and I admire his approach to shooting landscapes (mostly in Washington, Oregon and Alaska). He takes as much time as he needs to photography the picture he wants and will camp, hike or endure extreme weather to get it.
I first encountered Nigel Barker's work on America's Next Top Model; he tends to be more mainstream but his photos have something special.
Mr. Eggleston's body of work gave me the understanding that you can photography anything and make it into whatever you want......simple or not.
